Q: What can conveyor trucks do?

A: Our trucks can deliver rock, sand, gravel or screened top soil exactly where you want it.

Q: How long does it take?

A: Around 20 minutes for a 12 yard load.

Q: Can you shoot over fences?

A: Generally, we can shoot over about an 8’ fence.

Q: How much room do you need for clearance?

A: We need 12’ clearance with special attention to power lines, roof overhangs and trees.

Q: How far can you shoot?

A: On a flat surface, about 60’; up hill shortens the range; downhill can increase the range.

Q: Is there any cleanup for the customer?

A: No.  Our operators are skilled at controlling the conveyor and there rarely is any spill over.  Any product left under the base of the conveyor is cleaned up by the operator.

Q: How does the operator keep the rock from blowing all over?

A: The conveyor belts are “v” shaped which helps contain the product. The operator also controls the speed the product drops onto the conveyor belt which also helps keep it contained.

Q: How much lead time do I need for ordering?

A: Our dispatcher will attempt to put you on the schedule as soon as possible. Usually, 1-2 days is enough lead time.

Q: I like a certain operator. Can I count on getting him each time?

A: Every attempt will be made to send you the operator with whom you are familiar.  However, any of our operators will do an excellent job for you.

Q: Do you work for home owners, as well as contractors?

A: Yes. About 20% of our business is with home owners.

Q: Can I pay with a credit card?

A: Yes, we accept Visa and Master Card. In addition, the operators will take checks and cash payments when they finish a job.

Q: What is your credit policy? 

A: If you are a repeat customer who has already paid by credit card, check or cash, we offer credit, providing your references are good and you are willing to sign a personal guarantee.

Q: What is the billing cycle?

A: We bill on the 20th of each month. Payment is due on receipt of the statement with .5% incentive to pay before the 1st of each month and a 1 1/2% penalty for payments over 30 days old.
